Bede House is a Charity which was established as a Settlement in 1938 to work alongside poor families in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe
Bede runs support groups for a range of community projects to help disadvantaged families in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe, including support for people with learning difficulties and support for those who have suffered domestic violence and hate crime as well as services for young people.
Bede’s purpose is to welcome local people seeking support and opportunities to overcome difficulties, have new fulfilling experiences and feel that they can play a positive part in their community.
