The Beormund Community Centre exists to maintain a community centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of the London Borough of Southwark, in particular the area comprising the Riverside, Abbey and Bricklayers wards.
Our main objective is to manage, maintain and operate community facilities through a programme of educational, cultural, social and recreational activities in order to improve the quality of life of residents in the area- with emphasis being placed on individuals and groups who have least access to resources. We offer a broad range of activities including fashion and design workshops, educational and information technology facilities, after schools club, crèche and early learning, pensioners forum, healthy living workshops, sports and gymnasium facilities.
Local businesses and groups are welcome to hire the fully functional training and meeting rooms. Please contact the center for detailed information and prices.
