For over 20 years the Millwall Community Scheme (MCS) has been providing opportunities for the local communities of Lewisham and Southwark to take part in sport, learn new skills, make new friends, improve their health and find employment. They aim to deliver a high quality coaching and education programme built on a positive, inclusive and fun approach to sport.
The work done so far has given people of all ages, from all backgrounds and of all abilities the opportunity to take part in sport and has helped them to realise their potential, be proud of their achievements and, ultimately, to build a stronger community. The MCS is built around the four key areas of sports development, social inclusion, coach education, and our leisure facility, the Lions Centre.
