The Shard

Completed in 2012, The Shard is almost twice the height of any other vantage point in London, it's 72 floors standing at 244m tall
Taking inspiration from the spires of London churches and the masts of tall ships depicted by the 18th-century Venetian painter Canaletto, architect Renzo Piano designed the iconic landmark as a spire-like sculpture emerging from the River Thames.
