Celebrating the rich heritage of British harvest, the acclaimed annual Apple Day Event is packed full of apple based fun. There’ll be live music, treats, dancing and games, and for the studious visitor, you can learn all about the art of cultivating orchards and endangered apple varieties.
As tradition dictates, the festivities begin in Southwark Cathedral with a a short act of harvest worship in the Market, accompanied by the Market’s choir.
A collection will be made for the Robes Project, a local charity which provides winter night shelters for the homeless of south London.
