Award winning chef Tom Simmons to open restaurant in London Bridge

Acclaimed chef Tom Simmons and partner Lois Thomas are set to open their first restaurant in London at then end of July 2017, at the new One Tower Bridge development in London Bridge. Tom was the youngest competitor to reach the quarter-finals in MasterChef – The Professionals in 2011 and most recently headed up the kitchen at Wolfscastle Country Hotel where he was awarded 2 AA Rosettes within the year.

The all-day-dining destination restaurant will showcase Tom’s relaxed and elegant cooking style, taking influence from British and French cuisine with a nod to his Welsh heritage and a focus on thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

Sample dishes include:

  • braised ox cheek, pommes puree & bourguignon sauce
  • rhubarb panna cotta, granny smith sorbet and ginger biscuit

Tom Simmons is one of several exciting new additions to the One Tower Bridge development, including The Ivy which is also due to open in July.
