BOB’s Lobster began as a street food and wine truck in 2013, trading in the evenings at Borough Market. Their mission was to challenge convention; stripping away the white linen table cloths to serve up seafood extravagance curb-side on paper plates.
Now BOB’s will be parking up permanently for the first time in London Bridge, where they’ll be opening as BOB’s Lobster Wine Bar & Kitchen on St Thomas St in May 2018. The restaurant will be a fast-fine eatery and wine bar, serving exquisite seafood with a playful street-food twist.
The menu will evolve from day to night, featuring an array of small plates and the best of land and sea to encourage guests to experience as many flavours & textures as possible.
Small plates will include Smoked River Exe Mussels & Braised Ox Cheek Dripping Toast, Dorset Crab Tortellini, Fried Chicken with Caviar Aioli, and playful bar snacks such as ‘Fries with Eyes’, Smoked Cod Roe dip served with crispy salmon skin and corn tortilla chips. These plates will be served alongside street food signature dishes that you know and love, such as Ahi Tuna Tacos, Lobster Mac ‘n’ Cheese, and bite-size versions of their famous Lobster Roll.
