Acclaimed Brighton-based eatery, The Coal Shed have confirmed the opening of a new restaurant in London Bridge in October 2017.
Named as one of the best places to eat in the UK by the Observer Food Monthly Awards, The Coal Shed’s philosophy is a celebration of meat, fish and fire. The menu will focus around the finest, locally sourced ingredients, including a range of 35-day, dry-aged Scottish steaks from the North Highlands cooked on hot coals, plus fish fresh from the South coast.
Coinciding with the opening of the Bridge Theatre at the One Tower Bridge development, there will be a lunch and pre theatre menu on offer, showcasing the best of The Coal Shed with two courses for £20 and three for £24.
The restaurant will be spread across two floors: the décor; a relaxed, contemporary take on old-world glamour. The mezzanine level has been purpose designed as a flexible dining and event space, including an intimate private dining room for 12 or the option to occupy the full floor for a party size of 46 diners.
