Check out the array of events and activities taking place this December in the vibrant area of London Bridge…
London’s most picturesque Christmas market returns to the banks of the River Thames for its fourth year. Set against the backdrop of some of London’s most loved landmarks, the market hosts over 60 stalls selling gifts, food and drink.
Christmas by the River will also host a wide range of workshops at its very own chalet style event space to make sure you’re ready for the holiday season physically, creatively and romantically.
Get ready for late night shopping as Borough Market opens its gates for an evening of cheese on December 7th.
Over 20 of Borough Market’s renowned cheesemongers will be ready and waiting to waft an array of exquisite cheeses under your nose. Visitors will have a chance to chat to cheese experts and producers about their craft and find something unique to take home to feature on this year’s Christmas cheeseboard.
The Extraordinary Travelling Film Show will host two festive film nights at The View from The Shard this December. Bring a loved one to the top of London’s tallest building with the capital’s lights twinkling below. Bonus – you’ll be seriously close to the flight path of Father Christmas! The first to be announced is Miracle on 34th Street, with a follow up screening to be confirmed. Stay tuned for more details.
Create your own little piece of Christmas magic at Interior Stylist and Designer Tricia Noëlle’s Wreath Making Workshops. The workshops will be held at Le Pain Quotidien in Borough Market, where you’ll have the opportunity to design your very own Christmas Wreath using faux pheasant feathers, pearls and a touch of sparkle to bring your Christmas creativity to life, whilst enjoying a glass of fizz.
Join StreetFoodMarkets at the Courage Yard on 8th December for their seasonal street feast Merry & Bite. The pop-up event will take place over Friday lunchtime, 11:30am-3pm, at the recently refurbished destination, located off Shad Thames next to Tower Bridge. Feast on global cuisines from 13 of London’s most sought-after street food traders and shop for gifts at a selection of London’s top independent makers stalls.
