Hong Kong based restaurant Duddell’s is set to open its doors in London Bridge on November 28th. In keeping with the traditions of its Michelin-starred Hong Kong counterpart, Duddell’s in London Bridge will showcase authentic Cantonese dishes and hand-crafted dim sum, using only the freshest, premium ingredients sourced in the UK and further afield.
Housed in the historic St Thomas’ Church, Michaelis Boyd (Soho Farmhouse, Soho House Berlin) has designed the interior with the aim to maximise the daylight and heritage elements of the Grade II-listed building – honouring original features such as the ground floor alter, whilst exploring contemporary twists. Duddell’s will also features an impressive standalone bar with a dynamic wine list of old and new world wines as well as classic and innovative Asian-inspired cocktails.
Duddell’s Hong Kong was conceived to create a cultural and social destination for people with an appreciation for the arts, providing an inspiring backdrop where people could meet, eat, drink and socialize. The London restaurant hopes to follows suit, reflecting its creative roots in a menu packed with ingredient-led dishes that highlight texture and technique.
