1. London Bridge Open Kitchen | Tooley Street | 29th & 30th June

The biggest London Bridge Open Kitchen yet returns this June, celebrating the area’s thriving food and drink scene. This year’s annual feast will take place over 2 days in front of the brand new London Bridge station. Free to enter, the festival brings an array of incredible restaurants and bars out onto the street, including Tom Simmons, Londrino, The Coal Shed, Flour & Grape, Santo Remedio and Hawksmoor.

2. London Bridge City’s Summer by the River – London Bridge City Riverside – Throughout June

London Bridge City’s Summer by the River is set to return to the banks of the Thames this June with a 3 month long line-up promising an exciting array of events and entertainment. Stretching along the riverside from London Bridge to Tower Bridge, the free English country garden themed festival will play host to music performances, live comedy, outdoor cinema screenings and much more, with each day of the week based around a different theme.

3. London Festival of Architecture in London Bridge – Various Locations – Throughout June

For the first time, London Bridge has become a hub for the festival, hosting a packed timetable of exciting events and experiences around the area. From exclusive preview tours of the Science Gallery London, to Yoga sessions at One Tower Bridge – check out the full timetable.

4. Make Music Day UK in London Bridge – Various Locations – 21st June

Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 800 cities in 120 countries. Join in the celebrations in London Bridge as London-based Kinetika Bloco lead a carnival-style procession from the north side of the Thames starting at 6:00pm, across London Bridge, before weaving through the More London Estate.

5. My Name is Lucy Barton Bridge Theatre | 3rd-23rd June 

Three-time Academy Award and four-time Tony nominee Laura Linney makes her London debut as Lucy Barton in The Bridge Theatre’s June production. Unsteady after an operation, Lucy Barton wakes to find her mother sitting at the foot of her bed. She hasn’t seen her in years, and her visit brings back to Lucy her desperate rural childhood, and her escape to New York. As she begins to find herself as a writer, she is still gripped by the urgent complexities of family life.
