Hooray for summer! June is set to be jam-packed with culture and lots of fun. Here are some highlights from the array of events and activities taking place this month in the vibrant area of London Bridge…

 

London Bridge Open Kitchen @ St Thomas Street | 28th June | 5PM – 9PM | FREE

London Bridge’s finest restaurants, bars and breweries gather for an al fresco takeover of St Thomas Street on the 28th June. Sample dishes from the likes of José Pizarro, Hawksmoor, Texas Joe’s, The LaLit London Hotel and many more. There’ll be live music and bars for all to enjoy. Entry is free, dishes between £5 and £7. Outdoor Screenings and Music @ The Scoop at More London | Throughout June | FREE Part of London Bridge City Summer Festival

London Bridge City Summer Festival is back to fill your days and nights with culture, food, drink and fun by the riverside. Highlights this month include screenings of comedy classics like Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, alongside performances from the likes of Chainska Brassika and Liam Bailey. If you’re a fan of sing-a-longs then Massaoke is not to be missed!

London Festival of Architecture @ Various Locations | Throughout June | FREE

The theme of London Festival of Architecture  2017 festival is ‘memory’, explored through a wide range of events and activities from 1-30 June 2017.  In partnership with LFA, Team London Bridge have organised an array of events, talks and walks in the area. Check out the itinerary here.

 

Double Double Act @ Unicorn Theatre | June 20th – July 9th

Jürgen Partenheimer @ White Cube Bermondsey | Until June 18th | FREE

White Cube is pleased to present an exhibition of work by Jürgen Partenheimer at Bermondsey. This exhibition, his first in London, includes paintings, sculpture, unique ceramics and works on paper dating from 1975 to 2017.
