June 1, 2018 - June 30, 2018
London Bridge becomes a London Festival of Architecture ‘hub’ for June – sign up for free events and experiences.
The London Festival of Architecture started over 10 years ago as a niche celebration of the capital’s architectural achievements and talent. These days it has a wide reach and a programme of hundreds of events that engage with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, so much so that you don’t even have to know your Wren from your Rogers to join in and explore this year’s theme of IDENTITY.
For the first time, London Bridge has become a focus area for the Festival, creating a hub of activity 1-30 June, reflecting the importance of the changing built environment and globally-famous, landmark architecture we have here.
This year’s programme includes exhibitions and installations, talks and debates, walks and tours, family events, film screenings and a wide range of special events. Highlights of the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) London Bridge Hub so far include:
- London Bridge Open Kitchen, 29/30 June
- Gelato e Architecture, 16 June
- Museum of Walking, guided walks, 5, 12, 19, 20, 26 June
- London Bridge Station Tours, various dates
- Design Competition, Tooley Street triangle intervention
We’ll be encouraging participants in all London Bridge based events to feed back their Placemarks to us. And make sure you check the listings for events at our London Bridge Hive, which includes a Monet and Architecture lunchtime talk.
Most LFA2018 events are free to attend but in many cases you’ll need to register to confirm your place.
