National Poetry Day at London Bridge

National Poetry Day 2018 takes place on Thursday 4 October 2018 and the theme is Change. Expect an explosion of activity nationwide, thousands of amazing events across the UK – in schools, libraries, bookshops and hospitals, on buses, trains and boats – all celebrating poetry’s power to bring people together.

 

In London Bridge we’ll have 10 highly regarded, exciting poets reciting original works 4-5pm, and 6-7pm at the station beside the ticket office on the lower concourse.
