Gilbert and George – White Cube Bermondsey – From November 22nd

White Cube celebrates 50 years of the art of Gilbert & George with a new exhibition across all four galleries at Bermondsey. THE BEARD PICTURES go on show alongside THE FUCKOSOPHY, a collection of nearly 4000 pronouncements and mottoes created by the artists.



London Bridge Community Christmas Carols – Potters Fields Park (by City Hall) – 30th November, 4.30PM

Join the children of Snowsfields and Tower Bridge Primary Schools along with volunteers from local businesses on November 30th, as they carol their way from City Hall, Potters Fields Park along to Hay’s Galleria. Christmas lights will be switched on at both locations with special guest, the Mayor of Southwark kicking off the evening. Plus, there’ll be an appearance from the Snow King and Queen and festive treats at the end of the service.



Courtney Pine featuring Omar + Nikki Yeoh – Bridge Theatre – 13 November, 7:30pm

Following their sold-out Barbican show in March, the return of this new project which sees two of the UK’s finest jazz and soul talents composing, and performing new material together for the first time at the Bridge Theatre.

The Velveteen Rabbit – Unicorn Theatre – From 17th November

This heart-warming story returns to the Unicorn Theatre for the festive period. This very shy toy rabbit longs for nothing more than to become real. He spends his days waiting patiently on the nursery floor, watching the Boy play with other toys and dreaming of being picked up and loved. And then, one day, he is rediscovered and all his hopes start to come true…

It’s party time at Demo Kitchen this week as Alissa Timoshkina enlightens us with gift ideas that all the family can get involved in making. Join Alissa as she draws on her Russian heritage to create some unusual and delicious presents that will keep until Christmas.
