The Wine & Spirit Education Trust provides globally recognised education and qualifications in wines, spirits and sake, for professionals and enthusiasts. Each month WSET School London offers a number of evening tasting events for people wanting to learn more about a particular topic without seeking qualifications. These tutored tastings are delivered by subject experts or winemakers and are designed to be both fun and educational and delivered in an informal manner.

In this practical introductory session you will learn how to pair food and wine to perfection examining how the main flavours in food – acid, salt, and sweetness – impact the perception of different types of wine.
You’ll leave with the ability to look beyond the core ingredient of a dish and to instead use a dishes flavour profile to select a the perfect wine for pairing; Just like a professional sommelier. Ideal for wine enthusiasts, foodies and budding chefs alike!
