In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard will be hosting a special rose-hued afternoon tea available at TiNG Lounge and Restaurant, with all proceeds donated to the breast cancer ward of Guy’s Cancer Centre. The hotel’s special Pink Afternoon Tea was inspired by the journeys of four incredible women, Gina, Maggie, Mandy and Michele, who received breast cancer treatment at Guy’s Cancer Centre, located a stones throw-away from the hotel in London Bridge. The group also named the pastries, which are featured on the tea’s top tier. In addition to the Pink Afternoon Tea and Pink Lady cocktail, TiNG’s menu will include another special dish in support of the cause; a delicious dill cured Loch Duart salmon, accompanied by citrus dressing, cucumber and kohlrabi relish priced at £14.  Visitors can also find pink provisions at the hotel’s GONG Bar and Bar 31, with all proceeds from the Cool Pink Cocktail and the Pink G&T also donated to Guy’s Cancer centre.
