Arches at London Bridge is a new exhibition and cultural events venue boasting curved 6m high ceilings and over 11,000 sq feet. The venue contains five interconnected, cavernous railway arches and is being newly renovated with a bar, cafe, box office and shop. From late Spring 2023, it will host a roster of vibrant exhibitions and events from some of the biggest entertainment producers in the world. The first exhibition will be the immersive art experience MONET’S GARDEN, a fantastic 360-degree journey through the history and works of one of the greatest artists of the past century!
The Beth, an old fashioned cradle-to-grave hospital serving a town on the edge of the Pennines, is threatened with closure as part of an NHS efficiency drive. Meanwhile, a documentary crew eager to capture its fight for survival follows the daily struggle to find beds on the Dusty Springfield Geriatric Ward, and the triumphs of the old people’s choir (newest member: the Pudsey Nightingale). Alan Bennett’s new play is as sharp as The History Boys and as funny as The Lady in the Van. Ticket information

The theme of London Festival of Architecture 2017 festival is ‘memory’, explored through a wide range of events and activities from 1-30 June 2017. London is a city of myriad layers, each infused with memory: of people, buildings, places and experiences. London’s built environment, with memories bound up within it, is fundamental to how people experience the city, and the starting point from which architects, developers and communities can address change. As part of the LFA, Team London Bridge will deliver a range of events, talks and walks, including London Bridge Open Kitchen, where a collection of London Bridge’s finest restaurants, bars and breweries gather for an al fresco evening on St Thomas Street.
