Borough Market’s Auction Against Hunger brings together some of the best chefs in the UK for one night only, and all for a fabulous cause. This is one of the most talked about events in the UK’s hospitality sector, so make sure you have your ticket for this years shindig on 22nd July. James Lowe, Adam Handling, Anna Hansen, Nieves Barragan Mohacho, Hakkasan, Smokestak, Michael Reid, Chantelle Nicholson, Luca, The Begging Bowl, Breddos Tacos, Horn OK Please, BOL Foods and Jennifer Earle are just some of this year’s confirmed chefs, restaurants and traders, in what looks set to be the best line up for the event to date. This the 6th year of Auction Against Hunger, which has raised more than half a million pounds since it began in 2012. These funds have helped support Action Against Hunger’s work saving the lives of malnourished children and providing families with access to safe water and good nutrition. Tickets are £60 per person, which includes entry to the event, seven dishes and five drinks, as well as unlimited snacks from some of London’s best vendors and the chance to bid on some money-can’t-buy lots in an auction. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the charity.
