Christmas Carol Service Guy’s Chapel, King’s College London, St Thomas’ Street, SE1 9RT Thursday 8th December 5.30pm A candlelit service of popular Christmas Carols in the Chapel of Thomas Guy, followed by mulled wine and mince pies for all. London Bridge Carols and Lantern Parade

Join the children of Snowsfields and Tower Bridge Primary Schools on the 29th November along with volunteers from local London Bridge businesses as they carol their way from City Hall, Potters Fields Park along to Hay’s Galleria, ending inside London Bridge station.   The Mayor of Southwark will be the special guest to kick off the evening, plus the glowing Angel accompanied by Winter Dancers will delight the crowd. Christmas lights will be switched on at all three locations, plus more festive treats from 4:30pm – 5:30pm. The carols will start at 4:30pm in Potters Fields Park, just by City Hall. The estimated end time is 5:30pm in London Bridge station. This event is organised by Team London Bridge, Potters Fields Park, London Bridge City, London Bridge Station and The Bridges Federation.

London Bridge Community Christmas

Over the past seven years, the London Bridge business community have collected thousands of gift donations for local charities. The Team London Bridge led Christmas Campaign returns this year starting on the November 12th. Over 1700 gifts collected in 2017 The campaign benefits those experiencing homelessness, the elderly, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who struggle with mental health issues. Businesses can get involved by collecting, wrapping and delivering gifts Charities supported this year: Bede House, Beormund Community Centre, CoolTan Arts, Time and Talents, Stones End Day Centre, Manna Society Day Centre, South London Cares, Riverside Parents and Carers Association. How you can get involved  Donate Gifts – 12 November – 10th December –  We invite London Bridge based organisations to host a collection point for their employees to donate gifts.
