The Vinegar Yard

The team behind Flat Iron square have opened their latest outdoor market venture on St Thomas Street, adding to the ever-growing food, drink and cultural offer in London Bridge. The al-fresco space features a rotating street-food market, vintage clothing stalls, local pop-ups, art installations and open-air bar. My Million Pound Menu winners Baba Gs are among vendors including The Gentlemen Baristas, Sugo,  Up in my Grill and Nanny Bill’s. Flea Vintage offers treasure hunters a wonderful mix of vintage coats, dresses, furniture, ceramics and much more. The Vinegar Yard will be open 7 days a week from 7.30AM.

The Science Gallery Café is a dining destination in its own right,  ideally situated right outside London Bridge station and the Shard. The light, spacious café is located on the ground floor of the dynamic exhibition space, overlooking the beautiful newly restored Georgian courtyard. It makes an ideal venue for breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea for visitors and locals alike. With an emphasis on ethically sourced local produce, the open kitchen serves a varied menu of sharing plates, deli sandwiches and market main plates alongside locally roasted coffee and fresh juices. The Science Gallery Cafe is offering London Bridge DealCard holders 10% off all food and drink.  Vegetarian and vegan options are always available. October 1st marks International Coffee Day, a homage to one of the world’s most popular drinks. The day is a celebration of the people in the coffee industry; promoting awareness of coffee’s journey from the farm to your local shop. In celebration of ICW, we’ve compiled a list of 5 great independent coffee shops in London Bridge.   1. F***OFFEE Just as famed for its name as its delicious coffee, the Bermondsey St based café’s single origin beans are sourced from the Purosa region in the eastern highlands of Papua New Guinea. London Grind Grind have their own state of the art coffee roaster to supply coffee to their London based shops. Three Wheels Coffee are an independent London based coffee company based in The Shard Retail Arcade in London Bridge Station. They work in collaboration with fair-trade coffee roasters to offer coffee of uncompromising quality and to develop forward thinking approaches to café culture. We eat, sleep and breath coffee. We have created cafe’s that are all unique in and around very different parts of London.
