The Odyssey at The Scoop

For the 14th season of award-winning, free, open-air theatre at The Scoop, Gods and Monsters present an epic, action packed production of one of the world’s greatest adventure stories. As part of London Bridge City Summer Festival: Theatre Season, THE ODYSSEY will show every Wednesday between 6PM – 9PM from 9th August – 3rd September. Join our hero as he battles sea monsters, sirens, storms, a cyclops and ancient Greek gods on his voyage home to the woman he loves. Spend an evening on this massive adventure this summer or watch the three acts over multiple days. The entire Odyssey is suitable for all ages with the 6pm show particularly geared towards younger audiences and those new to Ancient Greek myth.   More information here.

Hooray for summer! June is set to be jam-packed with culture and lots of fun. Here are some highlights from the array of events and activities taking place this month in the vibrant area of London Bridge…   London Bridge Open Kitchen @ St Thomas Street | 28th June | 5PM – 9PM | FREE London Bridge’s finest restaurants, bars and breweries gather for an al fresco takeover of St Thomas Street on the 28th June. Sample dishes from the likes of José Pizarro, Hawksmoor, Texas Joe’s, The LaLit London Hotel and many more. There’ll be live music and bars for all to enjoy. Entry is free, dishes between £5 and £7. Highlights this month include screenings of comedy classics like Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, alongside performances from the likes of Chainska Brassika and Liam Bailey. If you’re a fan of sing-a-longs then Massaoke is not to be missed! Massaoke at The Scoop

Massaoke returns to The Scoop at More London! The singalong clubbing sensation that’s taking the UK by storm returns to The Scoop as part of London Bridge City Summer Festival. Take an amazing live band playing pop, indie and rock anthems, add lyrics projected onto a giant screen and then add your voice to a crowd singing its heart out to create a euphoric celebration of classic songs.
