Lunchtime Guided Walk – Romans in London

 This guided walking tour provides a fascinating insight into this historically rich part of London, looking at the story of London Bridge area and its connectivity to the Romans and the river. The Blue Badge Guide will take us to see many of the local highlights, explaining their significance and place in history as we go along. Meeting at 12:55pm for a 13:00pm departure, the walk will start at The Scoop at More London and last for approximately 50 mins – a perfect fit for your lunch break. This is an event that is part of the Londinium festival, by City of London. Travel back to Roman London through a spectacular variety of themed events and activities, as the City celebrates its Roman heritage during the Londinium festival. Free gentle exercise with the HOurBank Strolling Group

  Are you interested in some free, gentle exercise with a small, friendly group of people? Next ‘stroll’ is Thursday June 1st A circular walk past the 5 prison sites of old Southwark Meet 12:30 at John Harvard library Lasts approx. 45 mins at an easy pace – all on level ground with no steps and minimum road crossing. HOurBank run a monthly Walking Group in Borough on the first Thursday of each month around the Borough/London Bridge area passing some points of local interest along the way.
