LONDON DANCES the Nelken Line – FREE riverside session

  Sunday 22 April 6pm – 8pm free dance class and performance with Dickson Mbi and Bim Malcomson The Scoop at London Bridge City,  Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2DB FREE Team London Bridge invite you to join world-renowned dancer Dickson Mbi and teacher Bim Malcomson to learn and perform Pina Bausch’s iconic dance work the Nelken Line. You don’t need to be a trained dancer, we are looking for everyone who likes to move, is happy to walk and learn gestural phrases for the arms. Watch the dance here.   Where: LONDON BRIDGE HIVE, 1 Melior Place, SE1 3SZ Time: Choose a time slot either 10.30am – 1.30pm or 1.30 – 4.30pm   FREE Do you enjoy dancing? Whether it’s in front of the TV, in a ballroom or in your favourite club we want to hear from you. Team London Bridge invites you join award winning dance artist Dickson Mbi to learn a simple and beautiful dance by the world famous Pina Bausch. Have fun learning the moves before you are filmed in stunning locations around London Bridge. The film will then be sent out far and wide alongside other Nelken Line films from around the world.
