On October 7th, South London based organisation Ugly Duck is organising a dynamic contemporary performances show: @Disturbance. After 6 months of forced hibernation Ugly Duck is excited to open up the tannery’s doors with a night of exciting work performed to live and virtual audiences. Based around the exploration power dynamics, representations of queer bodies, identities and sexualities @Disturbance is an exciting showcase of works that will transcend the boundaries between digital & physical into a incandescent evening IRL (25 seats respecting social distance) and live streamed. Working with the promising computer artist from Goldsmith University, Robert Hall (B-Side Live) promises the online viewers an out of the ordinary, original visual experience. In between each performance the audience will be invited to discover fabolous work by video artists Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley, Sandra Araújo, Shu Lea Cheang exploring similar themes. Find out more Ugly Duck encourages engagement in the arts by working alongside communities and revitalising underused spaces, turning empty buildings into local assets through a curated programme of creative projects. At 47/49 Tanner Street London Bridge, Ugly Duck has shone light into a magical and complex building.
