Andrew Logan: No Boundaries

Published on 20th May 2019

Artists and creative spirits began to settle in the London Bridge area in the early 1970s and their influence on the area is clear to see today. One of these early pioneers was sculptural artist Andrew Logan. A key figure in London’s cultural life, Andrew’s London Bridge journey has taken him from the pre-renovated warehouses of Butler’s Wharf, to his more recent residence in the Glasshouse on Melior Place. One of Britain’s principal sculptural artists, he challenges convention, mixes media and plays with our artistic values. Sculptor, jeweller, performance artist, trained architect, and founder of Alternative Miss World, Andrew Logan has ignored conventional boundaries to produce a body of work that delights us today. Andrew will take us through his life’s works and influences and reflect on his relationship with the London Bridge area over the past five decades.
