Hawksmoor Cook’s Room Supper Club

Published on 17th July 2018

The Cooks’ Room is the creative hub for Hawksmoor and a unique private dining area for guests. On the last Friday of every month Hawksmoor Borough host the Cook’s Room Supper Club, an exclusive opportunity to try a menu usually only available to those who privately hire the room. This August, before he takes up residency at Meatopia, Lennox Hastie, chef/owner of Firedoor (Australia’s only fully wood fuelled restaurant) will be taking over the Cooks’ Room. Lennox shares our affinity for sourcing the best available ingredients and cooking them simply. British born Lennox spent his early career working at Michelin Star restaurants across the UK, France and Spain, where he became captivated with Basque County. Lennox discovered a grill restaurant in the Basque Mountains, Asador Etxebarri where he began mastering the skill of wood-fired grilling with chef Victor Arguinzoniz. Over the course of five years, Lennox saw the restaurant attain it’s first Michelin Star and enter the prestigious list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. In 2015 Lennox opened Firedoor in Sydney, Australia which offers the very best ingredients available on the day, cooked over fire. Tickets are £100 per person and include a cocktail on arrival, and paired wines. Book tickets
