Leese, Robia Milliner and Kieran Warner. Watch the Battles! Public Showcase Friday 25th  On Friday evening, the event will close with a Freestyle Jam open to the public where dancers can showcase their new skills with live DJs. London Hat Week 2018

The fourth London Hat Week (#LHW18) is set to be the biggest and best yet featuring many greats of British millinery including Stephen Jones OBE, Dillon Wallwork, Bridget Bailey, Ian Bennett and Edwina Ibbotson. London Hat Week is a collection of more than 80 hat related events across London including over 50 classes, The Great Hat Exhibition, styling events, the London Hat Walk and even some millinery magic! The Team London Bridge Hive and Guy’s Hospital near The Shard will be the learning and shopping hubs for London Hat Week 2018. Further events are spread around London and the first LHW regional partner, Hat Works, will be holding events in Stockport, bringing LHW to the home of felt making. A number of carefully chosen partners will be selling their millinery supplies and trimmings at the LHW Supplier Fair, with some also providing demonstrations, to show the full potential of their products, aimed at milliners, hatters and hobbyists. The Unicorn Theatre Celebrates 70!

The UK’s leading theatre for young audiences is celebrating its 70th anniversary this summer. Check out the schedule for four days of family fun to launch the festivities… DOWNLOAD THE WORKSHOPS & EVENTS TIMETABLE Choose from dance workshops, puppet making, clay creations, circus skills and special performances of the hit production Baby Show. There will also be a number of drop-in arts, crafts and games each day. All events take place from 30 Aug – 2 Sep. To ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy the activities, the Unicorn Theatre have limited advanced booking of the FREE events to two children per workshop with a maximum of two events bookable per customer per day. Early booking is highly recommended, but you will still be able to sign-up for places on the day too, and the foyer arts and crafts sessions don’t need pre-booking. These events can only be booked by phone on 020 7645 0560 (open 9.30am – 6pm). There’s a range of free and ticketed events with prices from £3.   WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES Each day is different, choose your favourites from the below and check the timetable for dates and times. Theatre: Baby Show | 6 – 18 months Our ever-popular sensory performance with captivating images and intriguing sounds that will keep your little ones rapt. Circus: Join The Circus! | Ages 6+ You don’t need to run away to join the circus at the Unicorn Theatre. Join Albert & Friends for a acro-balance, rolla bolla, unicycle, tightrope walking, balance ball, and juggling skills extravaganza! Puppetry: Puppet Soup | Ages 7+ An hour of glove puppet magic with our friends from Puppet Soup. Create a puppet pal and give him a story to tell. Dance: Mini Movers & Shakers | 18 months – 5 yrs Come join us in a sensory contemporary dance story where you will pick up more than just a few new moves. We’ll be visiting the dragon in the mountains, swimming in the lake and ice skating on the moon. Dance: Family Fever | All ages Groovy disco & stylish Street Dance for the whole family. A workshop where everyone is the best dancer and all moves are the right ones! (Babes in arms welcome) Arts & Crafts: Paper Unicorns | All ages Lots of scissor action needed for these paper craft sessions. From finger puppets to hug-o-grams, everyone will make something to show off to the neighbours. Arts & Crafts: Clay Creations | Ages 4+  We’re getting hands on with these keepsakes of our hand print made from air drying clay. Arts & Crafts: All Day Art! | All ages We’re bringing the Laika world to life. Join us for space and dog themed arts & crafts. You don’t need a ticket – just pop down and say hello!
